Pay Day!
After you have put in your blood, sweat and tears, you get your first check from the company. Does your check seem a little thin? Call your manger right away to discuss this. Otherwise, you may have inadvertantly waived your right to payment if you put it off by even a week.

Some companies do not issue you a check for a month, which means it may not arrive in your mailbox for almost 6 weeks. Be prepared to dig into your savings during this time. Also, your first few checks will be lighter, since you have not built up any repeat callers, and you are still working on your priority rating.
